With the rapid evolution in the technology.Vehicles are also rapidly evolving from old technology to the new with the hope of creating more safe environment and providing more comfort to its owners.Keeping this in view vehicles vendors have shifted the technology in which all the systems of the car is autocontrolled in other word we can say that the vendors are replacing the mechanical system with the electrical system leading to highly computerized vehicles.                                                   
As the vehicles are getting computerized the major threat to them is from the hackers.A expert in hacking can easily gain access of the car and can control them which sometimes can cause unwanted activity and also the persons life is at risk who is sitting inside a hacked car. Blackberry has taken a step towards the automotive security system with it's 'QNX Hypervisor 2.0'.

   “There is no safety without security“, says John Wall, head of Blackberry QNX software.The blackberry QNX Hypervisor 2.0 safeguards automobiles against such systematic breaches.Computer connected and self-driving vehicles are more vunerable to such systematic breaches.Blackberry QNX Hypervisior 2.0 isolates the car's each functional domain by creating the virtual software containers such that any breach in a single domain will not have any impact on the other domains making it difficult for the hackers in moving from one domain to the other domain and trying to get control over the system.

The virtual container would run the infotainment system and the digital instrument of the vechiles with the single system on a chip which means that all the working of the vehicles will be controlled by a single electrical chip. A skilled Hacker can easily move towards the brake and speed system through the music system and have full control over them.This risked the life of the passengers sitting inside the vehicles.

    Blackberry QNX Hypervisor 2.0 provides safety from such breaches.In the QNX software two system are isolated from each other and kept safe.So,even if a Hacker gets controls over one the system then he cannot access the control of the other system.In addition to this BlackBerry QNX operating system enables developers to use trusted BlackBerry services such as ‘splash screen display’ or ‘instant device activation’ which is mainly for user familiarity, easy access and attraction.It is said that the QNX Hypervisor comes as one of the few attempts to safeguard cyber war.
